AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! i've got a bloody headache...dunno why i'm still doing this. oh ok. i noe. cos i've got nothing better to do. actually wad's the point of this whole blogging thing? never really sat down n thought bout it. but i guess it's jus used to kill time. blog-surfing kills time, posting kills time. making one kills even more time...ok to me. wasn't that why blogs were invented in the first place? how did it appear in my life? popping out like mushrooms...hey! that's a nice little phrase. popping out like mushrooms...i'm popping out like mushrooms. wonder where that came from...i went to batam. but i forgot to post about it. hahaha. see. i told u it was jus to kill time. not like i have alot of it that's why i don't treat this as my diary or anything...jus for fun. we set off at 7.45 in the early morning. the worms aren't even out yet. it was jus a one day shopping tour. my mum brought her friends along too. there was aunty amy and aunty amy's fren. forgot her name. all of them had children. aunty amy brought one girl, who was 8. her fren brought a girl n a boy, 13 n 10 respectively. both my sisters tagged along too. so 3 aunties and 6 children went to a one day shopping tour to batam. oh yea! i forgot! aunty amy's fren's maid came too... so 3 aunties, 6 children and 1 maid. it's like singing that christmas song u noe? jus that the numbers are all messed up. we boarded the ferry 9.20am. it was a 45 mins ride. i felt a little seasick. never experienced it before. maybe cos the ferry was smaller so the rocking and swaying was a bit too much. we arrived at this weird named ferry terminal in batam at 10.30am singapore time. in batam, it was 9.30am. the tour guide brought us to the bus and started babbling bout indonesia and our destinations for the day. at first i tried to follow and be interested in what he was trying to say. but after 5 mins, i gave up. i couldn't understand half of wad he's saying. yada yada yada. we reached the first destination where we can parasurf, banana boat and some others. i didn't try it out. i went to the nearby hotel lobby and played a soccer game. u noe the one where u used poles to control the people in the big box. yea. after half an hour, we got up the bus again. yada yada yada....then we reached the go kart. i wanted to try it out but u could only ride for 10 mins. in the hot sun? no thanks. i'd rather go to genting to play that. and it's not even hot. then yada yada yada. this time it was longer. we arrived somewhere near town where i can spot at least more human activity. we bought some snacks for the next boring bus ride and went to lunch. it was seafood. yummy! i finished the big plate of rice i was served. then there was the long and suffering trip to the toilet...i brought my sis there and..ok i don't really wanna talk bout it. all u hav to noe was jus that it was long and suffering. then it was shopping time!! first we went to a place where lots of dried food is sold..it's like paradise for the aunties...6 of us jus stayed in the bus to play UNO. then we went to a big polo shop where i bought a diesel jacket and a pair of jeans. they gave us 15 mins for like everything we do. luckily, our last destination, which is a shopping mall can be decently "shopped" for 1 and a half hour. so for 1.5h, i bought a small haversack and a handbag. well, there was a bit of a small mishap before boarding the bus. my lil' sis suddenly decided that she should commit suicide. i was walking towards the bus not knowing that anyone was behind me. cos my mum was still buying some stuff n i was the first to leave and headed for the bus. i thought that worm will stick my mum. but worms obviously don't walk with any sound so i didn't hear her. then i heard aunty amy screaming:"li lin!!! (that's the worm's name) don't move!!!!!" i turned back n saw her standing at the edge of the road. omg. then my mum came n saw the whole thing. i was 2 more steps to the bus. she looked at me and said:"how could u jus leave ur sister alone to cross the road?!" great. u don't need to noe wad happened next too. it's a little predictable u noe. i was like so angry. but it's over now... now i jus wanna sleep.Labels: normal days
